Zurzeit bin ich daran, eine Weiterbildung im Bereich der nonverbalen Kommunikation für Personen im Sicherheitsbereich zu entwickeln. Es ist faszinierend zu erkennen was mein Körper durch nonverbale Signale sagt.

I am very pleased to have completed the MAS on conflict analysis and transformation (Department of Sociology, University Basel). 

Where do you come from? This is such a simple question but one that challenges some of us.
“Home is when I am connected with myself and my community of people where I feel accepted and loved.” This is my most common answer and most truthful response. 

What is multicultural competence? Is it the ability to create meaning in communication? Is it being able to embrace difference and yet have a sense of belonging? Competence in our ever increasing small world is of greatest importance both for a successful professional life, but also to have rich personal life. 

One of my first memories was hearing the war-chanting of the Huli men in the southern highlands of Papua New Guinea, preparing for a stand-off with another tribe. Conflict was associated with violent and minor-armed conflicts which threatened our peace in a very real way. I saw men and women injured from tribal fighting. 

Three years ago an idea was born in a small coffee shop in Oslo with three friends. We were disturbed by the fact that violence against men and boys was not on the agenda of many international and national actors working on violence and prevention of thus.
